   Brendan, just came across an old thread regarding the Kobe II American Flag shoe. FYI there were in fact closer to 30 pairs of this shoe made, and there were actually 2 versions. One was a screen print and the other a sublimation print. All of them were in Kobe's size, 14, so if you see any for sale other than that you can be sure that they are counterfeits.
   
   There was a plan for Kobe to helicopter on to an aircraft carrier and give some of the shoes away as gifts to the sailors but that never happened.
   
   I have two pair of the shoes in my attic and would be happy to send you more pics if you are interested.
